Description of Project: A large barn for entertaining, storage and living space.

Reason Why Project was Done: Customer needed more storage areas on this property for recreation equipment.

Description of Work Completed: A custom barn with exposed white oak post and beam construction having storage and living space.


Building featured a large hunting room with a stone fireplace and walnut slab mantle, kitchen with walk in cooler, bunk room, exercise room, hunting closet, and a barn area for farm and recreational equipment storage. Traditional sliding barn doors up to 14’ wide and 12’ tall were installed in barn area.

Taking on a project that required Bozdech Custom Homes complete attention to every expectation and detail suited Bozdech’s vast knowledge and reputation completely. This project combined using the area’s best architect and engineers to implement the owners concept into reality. White Oak heavy timbers were sourced from Kentucky in lengths up to 28’, over three semi-trailer loads of timbers went into this barn. The outside was done using solid white oak board and baton siding for its durability and authentic look.
