Reason owner chose Bozdech Custom Homes: Worked one-on-one with both owners to develop their dream home.
Most outstanding features: Kitchen hearth room.
Starting with an existing plan, the Bozdech team worked with the homeowners to bring their original concept to refined and elegant reality. Many improvements were made on-site to ensure the desired result.
The lot had issues – a gulley to be exact – but with persistence and some creative placement, the site was transformed to a showplace.
At the heart of the home, presiding over a generously proportioned hearth room, is a handcrafted, rugged beamed ceiling. A large stone fireplace flanked by custom bookshelves completes a refined, yet welcoming effect.
Custom-designed stone window surrounds are another example of how the project married a client’s vision and the right talented artisans to achieve the intended result.
In this instance, brick masons mixed stones together – one at a time – to formulate a look and color combination that achieved the clients’ objective.
Throughout the home, traditional materials and craftsmanship meet the latest building innovations. The project showcases Bozdech’s affinity for interpreting classic elements to suit the lifestyles of today.
